How long does a treatment session last?

A typical acupuncture treatment session typically lasts between 45-60 minutes, with initial consultations typically lasting longer. If this is your first treatment, please take this into consideration.

When we incorporate multiple modalities into a holistic approach, treatment sessions may last up to 90 minutes.

What type of clothing should I wear to my acupuncture session?

For your comfort and convenience, we recommend that you wear light, loose-fitting clothing to your acupuncture sessions. This will allow us to easily access the various areas of your body where we may need to place needles.

How many acupuncture visits will it take before I start to notice results?

Our patients usually come to us on a weekly basis, but every case is different. Your practitioner will create a tailored treatment plan to help you reach your health goals. Depending on your condition, some issues can be resolved in one or two sessions, whereas others might require more visits.

Generally, you may experience some relief from certain symptoms right away, while it may take longer to address the underlying cause.

Do you accept insurance?

We don’t handle insurance ourselves, but we can give you a receipt with the right coding to use for filing with your insurer. We suggest you check with them to make sure they cover acupuncture and what conditions it’s approved for.

What language is the consultation/therapy being conducted in?

We are fluent in both English and Greek! We also speak some Spanish and Portuguese 🙂
